Advancing quantum information science and technology through research, collaboration, and innovation.
The Quantum Collaborative Research Corps (QCoR), based at the University of Maryland and embedded within the LPS Qubit Collaboratory (LQC), conducts basic research spanning the quantum technology stack from novel materials to small-scale quantum processors.
Our work includes:
Discovering and engineering novel materials for next-generation quantum devices
Designing, fabricating, and characterizing advanced qubits and hybrid platforms
Exploring disruptive qubit technologies and emerging architectures
Evaluating and mitigating sources of error in small-scale quantum processors
Training and mentoring the next generation of quantum scientists and engineers
QCoR brings together scientists, engineers, and innovators committed to impactful basic research that advances quantum technologies. We offer opportunities across research, engineering, and workforce development programs, with pathways for students, early-career researchers, and experienced professionals to contribute to our projects.
Opportunities include:
Research Scientists and Engineers
